“Nine Langley galleries will celebrate summer with an evening art walk Saturday, July 22, from 6-9 p.m. At the Artists’ Cooperative of Whidbey Island, more than 40 local artists who collectively own and operate the gallery will show jewelry, fiber arts, photography, bronze, color pencil, glass art, pottery and fine art. Hellebore Glass Studio invites the public to see on-site glassblowing, with new works in progress. Featured will be the lampworked glass art jewelry by Camille Johnson Noble and gold vermeil and pearl jewelry by Sabine Leteinturier.At Gaskill/Olson Gallery a bronze statue of the former owners’ dog Reggie, donated by Georgia Gerber and Randy Hudson, will be dedicated in commemoration of Ron Childers’ and Richard Proctor’s many years of service to the community and support of the arts. Summer Salon featuring house artists continues for artwalk.Lowry/James Antiques specializes in original Audubon prints of birds and quadrupeds as well as 17th-19th century botanicals, shown in their historic building on First and Anthes.Museo is featuring 32 local glass artists showing their latest work along with paintings of the artists in action by Lane Gwinn. Local favorite Randy Landon will unveil his two latest ceramic tile pieces of a nautical bench and an iris-themed mirror.The Glass Knight on First Street is well known for fine glass art and antique furniture.
