Langley names new finance director, clerk

During the Langley city council meeting on Monday, Mayor Tim Callison announced his selection of Monica Felici for the job of finance director-city clerk.

He cited her good personality, background in municipality work and experience in cash management as qualities that make her suitable for the job.

Felici’s first day of work was April 7. She is succeeding Debbie Mahler, whose last day is April 30.

“I think it’s exciting to see someone that has both accounting and a clerk type of experience,” Councilwoman Dominique Emerson said.
