League, libraries to hold election forum tonight

The first of two election forums this month will take place tonight in Freeland. Organized by the held by the League of Women Voters of Whidbey Island and the Sno-Isle Libraries, the forums will include candidates for Congressional District 2, state Legislative District 10, and county commissioner Positions 1 and 2.

Organized by the held by the League of Women Voters of Whidbey Island and the Sno-Isle Libraries, the forums will include candidates for Congressional District 2, state Legislative District 10, and county commissioner Positions 1 and 2.

Tonight’s forum is 6-9 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island, 20103 Highway 525. The second is 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20 at the Elks Lodge, 155 Ernst St., Oak Harbor.

Candidates will answer questions and discuss topics presented by the League of Women Voters. The events are free and open to the public.
