Whidbey Audubon Society is hosting an owling field trip Feb. 23. Whidbey Island is home to six species of owl and is occasionally visited by others. This field trip is open to the public and free. Bring a flashlight, binoculars, scopes and a keen sense of hearing. Dress warmly. The trip begins in the daylight and ends in the dark.
