Meerkerk Gardens in Greenbank is holding an Octoberfest event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2.

Guests can enjoy music and food, beautiful fall colors in the woodland garden and more. The specialty nursery is open for fall planting season and is having a sale. The garden has an expansive collection of your favorite rhododendrons and people with knowledge to help you plant it.

South End Kitchen will be grilling up bratwurst and serving German potato salad and sauerkraut.

Be sure to take a stroll through the gardens to see the early autumn leaves starting in the forest. Or guests can join the Forest Bathing tours at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Entrance to Octoberfest is included in the $5 admission.
