Thomas Alton Andrews
Thomas Alton Andrews died Feb. 10, 2002, in Langley of ALS.
He was born in Roseburg, Ore., to Alton and Joella Andrews.
Mr. Andrews graduated from Roseburg High School in 1970. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in forest products at Oregon State University.
He married Janet Bassi in Seattle on June 27, 1981.
Tom’s 20 years in wood products manufacturing and marketing resulted in his living in Ketchikan, Alaska; Gold Beach and Roseburg, Ore.; Lufkin, Texas; Jacksonville, Fla.; and Dallas. Tom enjoyed his family, music, photography, fishing and collecting.
He is survived by his wife; sons Byron and Mark; his father; a sister, Connie Parmeter and family; and his wife Janet’s family.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 16 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Freeland. Memorials may be made to Oregon State University Foundation for the Forest Products Scholarship Fund in Memory of Thomas Andrews, 850 SW 35th St., Corvallis, OR 97333.
