Robert Schmidt Sr.

Robert Schmidt Sr., 65, of Langley, died peacefully at home on Feb. 20, 2002, following a short illness.

He was surrounded by his loving family, including Rosemary, his wife of 35 years; son Rob and daughter-in-law Marion; and grandchildren Steven and Sarah. He also is survived by stepchildren Rozanne and Charles and grandson Charles.

Robert has been a resident of South Whidbey for all his married life, actively participating in the Boy Scouts, Eagles and American Legion. He was well-liked and friendly, and a long-time member of the Clover Patch coffee bunch.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. March 17 at Bayview Hall. Please, no flowers.
