The items will range from furniture to toys, and represent many periods, including primitive, Depression era, Queen Anne, Victorian and others.Visitors will see cottage and country furniture, Oriental art, china, glassware and lamps.There will also be antique linens and estate jewelry; vintage sheet music and framed art; early American toys, garden furnishings, collectibles and much more.The show is much larger this year than in previous years, said Janet VanKleeck McNae, show manager. We have 25 dealers and have expanded the space by opening the dance studio next door.It is McNae’s first solo effort after taking on the responsibility last year from long-time organizers Virginia LaRue and Marian Lanihan, who had put on the Langley Antique show for many years before retiring from its management.McNae had been one of the show’s loyal enthusiasts before assuming a role in its leadership. She has incorporated several new concepts into the show, such as garden art and some contemporary items from Seattle.Part of the nominal admission price of $3 will be donated to local charities, and there is no charge for parking on Saturday and Sunday.There will also be refreshments available during the two day show.
