Riders scurrying across Admiralty Inlet could see longer waits because of fewer ferry sailings.
The Port Townsend-to-Coupeville route returned to one-boat service Wednesday and will continue through the winter. With the reduction in service, sailings will take place every 90 minutes.
The reduction will leave the Salish as the only ferry serving the route. Its sister ship, the Kennewick, is heading to the ferry system’s maintenance facility for routine maintenance. Single boat service will continue on the route until mid-May.
