“A Clinton couple who were charged with drug crimes after Island County Sheriff’s deputies discovered their marijuana grow operation while investigating a burglary recently pleaded guilty to felony charges.Holly Boller, 32, pleaded guilty to solicitation to commit manufacture of marijuana in Island County Superior Court Sept. 29. Her partner in crime, 31-year-old Gary Anderson, pleaded guilty to manufacturing of a controlled substance, marijuana.Superior Court Judge Vickie Churchill sentenced Boller and Anderson each to 30 days in jail, which was converted to 240 hours of community service. In addition, they each received a year of community supervision and were ordered to pay $727 in fines and fees.In the affidavit of probable cause written by Deputy Robert Davison, deputies responded to a report of a burglary at the couple’s Clinton home Oct. 20, 1999. Boller and Anderson asked the deputies to search their home for four armed intruders.But instead of intruders, the deputies found the couple’s marijuana grow operation, which included 74 marijuana plants, lights, fans, eight sandwich bags full of pot and books on growing pot. In all, there was over 40 grams of the illegal weed.Davison wrote that both Boller and Anderson have health problems, but neither has a prescription for using pot. “
