Sunday is the last day to support South Whidbey High School band and choir students’ annual poinsettia sale.
The fundraiser benefits student musicians, the Island County Senior Center and Good Cheer Food Bank.
Held every year, the school’s performing arts students sell flowers and mistletoe to raise money for scholarships, instrument repair and travel to regional festivals.
The public can also purchase plants for the senior center or food bank, which students will then donate in the purchaser’s name.
Poinsettias cost $12, mistletoe $8. A portion of each purchase is tax deductible.
To purchase call 360-914-2107.
