Kiwanis of South Whidbey awarded six $1,000 scholarships to South Whidbey High School graduates.

The recipients were Meaghan de Wolf, Isla Dübendorf, Katie Haugen, Will Holbert, Emma Lungren, and Jonathan Peterson. The scholarships were awarded based on recommendations from teachers.

“We thank the community for supporting our fundraisers without which the awards would not be possible,” said Bill Carruthers, president of Kiwanis of South Whidbey.
