The following 9-1-1 calls are to the Island County Sheriff’s Office, South Precinct

 

Tuesday, March 18

10:34 a.m. — A caller on Scenic Avenue advised a cat has been up in the tree for three days. Caller said the fire department would not come out for it.

11:56 a.m. — A caller on Highway 525 says her boyfriend went into the Red Apple to buy food and hasn’t come back out. Caller says she is scared and thinks he was in there about 45 minutes.

1:09 p.m. — A caller on Parker Road and Honeycomb Lane reported a deceased cow on the beach. Caller states she called yesterday and no one returned her call.

 

Wednesday, March 19

9:11 a.m. — A caller on Maxwelton Road reported students smelling of marijuana and that the drug has been found in their possession.

 

Thursday, March 20

10:28 a.m. — A caller on Bush Point Road reported loose puppies on the roadway are a traffic hazard. Caller returned the puppies to owners and is concerned they do not keep them contained.

10:47 a.m. — A caller on Main Street reported a customer at Payless is possibly mentally

disturbed and was in the store yelling. He was about to leave and currently carrying green suitcase.

 

Friday, March 21

9:49 a.m. — A caller on Good Piper Lane has information on who has threatened to kill all police on Facebook. The woman is demanding that police arrest her parents, no reason given.

5:38 p.m. — A caller on Club and Beach drives reported a dead cow washed up on beach number two.

 

Saturday, March 22

12:16 p.m. — A caller on Scenic Avenue reported her cat returned home with a shaved stomach and appears to have had some sort of surgery.

 

Sunday, March 23

12:58 a.m. — A caller on Huckleberry Lane reported hearing a female screaming from the neighbor’s house.

10:06 a.m. — A caller on Parkwood Drive asked about her rights involving a neighbor’s Labradoodle, which is coming onto her property, chasing her horses and tearing up their yard.

6:43 p.m. — A caller from the Clover Patch restaurant reported a customer used a counterfeit $20 bill. When confronted, the subject left the money on the counter and walked out.
