The following were gathered from calls made to the Island County Sheriff’s office:

Saturday, Sept. 26

At 4:37 a.m., a caller reported hearing a car speeding and crashing on Koetje Street. Then the caller heard giggling.

At 10:30 a.m., there was a report of an owl entangled in a soccer net on Ebey Road.

At 1:58 p.m., a resident reported that a barn was burglarized on Zylstra Road. A generator and power tools were stolen.

Sunday, Sept. 27

At 2:42 p.m., a caller on Golf Course Road reported that a barn “blew up” like a shotgun blast.

Monday, Sept. 28

At 2:18 p.m., a Rebecca Drive resident reported that a neighbor threatened to shoot her dog.

Tuesday, Sept. 29

At 9:42 a.m., a caller reported that loose dogs tried to attack a child on Driftwood Way.

At 11:10 a.m., a dead owl and raccoon were reported on Crescent Harbor Road.

Wednesday, Sept. 30

At 1:54 p.m., a caller at a Highway 525 location reported that a woman was acting strange and offering children items. The woman told the caller that she had a necklace for her kids.

At 10:49 p.m., an Atalanta Way resident said that a group of people were arguing.

At 11 p.m., a caller reported that a group of men on Izett Street were arguing and harassing someone.
