Friday, March 27
At 4:06 p.m., a caller reported that a motocross track was open in violation of the quarantine.
At 4:18 p.m., a Driftwood Drive resident reported that a neighbor has a vacation rental and the caller is concerned it will bring the COVID bug to the neighborhood.
Saturday, March 28
At 3:41 a.m., a woman reported that her husband has coronavirus and that a man came to her house and touched her all over.
At 10:05 p.m., a North Whidbey woman reported that she wanted to report herself for sexually abusing a dog at a party a couple of years ago.
At 10:42 p.m., a North Whidbey resident asked what travel restrictions are in place for a white woman who wants to leave the state.
Sunday, March 29
At 3:02 p.m., a caller reported that people were parked at Ebey’s Landing and enjoying the outdoors.
At 4:24 p.m., a Lenz Place resident reported that her boyfriend was supposed to bring a turtle to pet store to get rid of it a month ago, but she found it in a box in the garage. It was still alive.
Monday, March 30
At 10:32 a.m., a caller reported that a dog groomer was still doing business even though it’s not essential.
At 7:39 p.m., a West Beach Road resident reported that a woman staying in the backyard threatened to kill her dog.
Tuesday, March 31
At 9:16 a.m., a resident reported that workers were pouring concrete at a construction site on East Harbor Road even though they are not essential employees.
At 11:42 a.m., there was a report that a transient kicked in the door at the Whidbey Telecom building.
At 12:52 p.m., a resident reported that someone from Publisher’s Clearinghouse needed his bank information to pay for a surcharge.
At 3:24 p.m., a caller reported that a cat was foaming at the mouth on Terry Road.
Wednesday, April 1
At 9:02 a.m., a man reported he moved into a home on Frostad Road and found a box full of papers with threats written on them. One had the Ten Commandments and another mentioned a thief.
At 10:18 a.m., an Oak Harbor woman reported that her boyfriend took her dog when they broke up and won’t give it back.
At 7:15 p.m., a driver reported that a man in an orange sweatshirt was swinging his arms and hitting himself next to State Highway 20.
Thursday, April 2
At 1:08 p.m., a caller reported that a group of travel trailers were on Paradise Place and people were gathering in violation of the governor’s order.
At 1:37 p.m., a caller reported that a man was stuck in a vehicle at the Coupeville Post Office.
At 1:51 p.m., a man said that his bobcat was stolen in Skagit County and he can see it in a yard on Custer Street.
Friday, April 3
At 11:06 p.m., a South Main Street resident reported that her retina is damaged from a van she reported earlier. She was concerned the van would damage other elderly people’s eyes.
At 8:17 a.m., a caller reported video chatting with a friend and the man cut his throat with a knife.
Saturday, April 4
At 1:11 p.m., there was a report of someone living in a school bus parked at a dog park on Oak Harbor Road.
At 3:38 p.m., a Maxwelton Road resident reported that a friend stole her weighted blanket.
At 11:50 p.m., a Lakeside Drive resident reported that a cat was stuck in a tree.
Sunday, April 5
At 1:48 p.m., a caller reported that the parking lot next to Deception Pass Bridge was full, in violation of the stay-at-home order.
At 2:31 p.m., a resident reported that he sent a friend to check on a Barque Road home that was supposed to be vacant and a woman came to the door in a see-through negligee and a full-length mink coat. The resident said he thinks the woman is running a whorehouse out of the residence.
At 4:50 p.m., a caller reported that two bald eagles on Barrett Road are fighting and got stuck under a downed tree.
