Alava E. Smith, age 83 of Clinton passed on Friday Aug. 31st 2012. Leaving here in the way she wanted, peacefully from her own home.

She was a very loving woman whose first love was her family, who she showed that to everyday of her life. She is survived by her son John R. Smith also of Clinton and her four grandchildren John Smith lll, Steven Smith jr., Daniel Smith and Laura Smith.She also had 5 great grandchildren. She moved to Whidbey Island from the Los Angeles, Calif. area 24 years ago to retire and be with her family. She will be dearly missed.
