Betty Berndt, formally of Freeland, died March 29, 2009 in Riverside, Calif. after a short illness.

Betty lived in Freeland from 2001 to 2007. She enjoyed her many friends at the senior center where she was active in the bridge groups.

Betty is survived by two daughters, three grandchildren and their spouses and four great-grandchildren. Her wit and laughter will be missed by all.

Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
