Cherie L. Glover Buechner passed away on May 29, 2020. She was born in Missoula, Mont., on May 18, 1960.

Cherie has lived and worked in the greater Seattle area since 1966. She was professionally trained as a master barber, working for 40 years in Bellevue and then Whidbey Island in Freeland, Wash., and Oak Harbor, Wash.

She is survived by her husband, John; son, Avery (Kate); and brothers, David and Robert.

There will be a memorial service 2 p.m. July 25, 2020 at First Baptist Church of South Whidbey. All who knew Cherie are invited to the service and luncheon to follow at the church.
