Janice Lee “Jan” Messer passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 after a sudden and unexpected illness. She was 66 years old. She is survived by Andy, her husband of 23 years; her daughter Judy, son-in-law Gary and granddaughter Arianna, of Whidbey Island.

Jann was a loving mother and wife. She was a “best friend” to many and a comfort to those in need. She will be deeply missed.

Services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland.
