Kristopher James Snyder (Kris), 46, died on April 26, 2019 in Issaquah, Wash. Kris was born in New Orleans, La., and grew up on South Whidbey Island. He attended Langley Middle School and South Whidbey High School graduating in 1991. He enjoyed sports and making friends which was highlighted through his participation in both wrestling and football while in high school. After graduation he pursued a career in the construction industry.

Kris left behind his loving family, including his children, Gabe Snyder and Alexa Ferrari; his sister, Breanne Snyder; and his parents, Bob and Terri Snyder; as well as many close friends.

Kris was quick to laugh and shared his sarcastic sense of humor with everyone he met. One enduring interest was his love of collecting rocks and gems through most of his life. He will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 804 Third Street, Langley, Wash.
