Morris ‘Moe’ Clayton Stadler: Nov. 14, 1948 – Oct. 12, 2020

Morris “Moe” Clayton Stadler was born Nov. 14, 1948, in Britton, S.D., and left this earth on Oct. 12, 2020, after a long battle with MS and pancreatic cancer.

Moe is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jacolyn, and his two grown children, Joseph P. Stadler and Robyn Rene Damaris. There are three grandkids that he loved very much, Landon P. Stadler, Grace J. Stadler and Dylan D. Damaris.

He served in the U.S. Navy for over 22 years and was a Vietnam War veteran, spending more than 10 years at sea.

The highlight of his life was in 1983 when he and a friend started the North Whidbey Duet Association. He helped to write the bylaws, and it still exists today.

Any rainy or cloudy day, Moe could be found riding around the Fairway Point Community with his dog Ginger on his lap. He loved getting to show her off to the neighbors and friends.

There will be no service as per Moe’s wishes. He will be cremated and a burial at sea will follow.

Rest in peace Moe.
