Paul E. Struss, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 30 in his Langley, Wash., home.

Paul was born in Canby Minn., to Robert and Doris Struss. He grew up in Seattle, Wash., graduating from West Seattle High School, class of 1963. He served in the Air Force reserve for two years before starting his family.

Paul worked for Hallmark cards for over 25 years as a well-respected salesman. Among his many interests were classic cars, soccer and, of course, golf. Being on the golf course was absolutely his favorite place to be. Made even better with his close friends and children, who always enjoyed playing with him.

Paul is survived by his brother Jim, 80; son Michael, 54; his son’s wife Julie; his son’s children Izzi, 14, and Austin, 12; his daughter Carey, 48; his daughter’s husband Dan and their child Caitlyn, 10.

A celebration of life for Paul is being held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 7 at the UBCC. All who knew and loved him are encouraged to join us.
