William Wasloski

William Anthony Wasloski of Freeland and formerly of Haddonfield, N.J., died peacefully on Oct. 2, 2005, surrounded by family and friends after a long illness of hemochromatosis. He was 65 years old.

Bill worked in Seattle for the railroad in the late 1950s. Several months later he met his life partner, Cedric Morrison, and together they started a house moving business. In the early ’70s, one of their first major jobs was to move 100 homes from the Sea-Tac Airport for a new runway to be built. They were a very successful team.

For the last 15 years Bill worked for Windermere Real Estate in Freeland as a sales associate.

His charismatic personality made him a natural at the real estate business. Bill was extremely kind and generous. Even strangers were drawn to his charm.

Bill always loved the sun and over the years traveled with friends to Mexico and Hawaii, walking the beaches for hours at a time.

He is survived by his sister, Stella McSparran, of Cherry Hill, N.J.; a brother, John Wasloski and John’s wife, Irene of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; four nieces, five nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is also survived by many devoted friends and coworkers.

He was preceded in death by his partner of 39 years, Cedric Morrison.

Services will be held at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 804 Third Street, Langley, at 1 p.m. Nov. 7. Graveside services to follow at Langley Woodmen’s Cemetery. After services, a celebration of his life will be held at the Edgecliff Bar and Grill, 510 Cascade Ave, Langley.
