In an epic defensive battle, the Falcons lost a heartbreaker to Granite Falls, 13-12, in a winner-to-state game. Senior leadership has been a strength of this year’s team, led by Ryan Morgan, Erik Haugen, Nick Black, Joseph Mattson and Kevin Sette. The Falcons record is 2-2 in league, and 5-4 overall as they head into the season finale Saturday at 1 p.m., hosting the Kingston Buccaneers. Led by Emerald Sound Conference Coach of the Year, Luke Hodson, it is the fourth straight year that the Falcons have reached the five-win mark for the season.
