The South Whidbey High School girls soccer team will host the Friday Harbor Wolverines at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10 at Waterman Field. The early start time is due to the Friday Harbor girls ferry constraints — if they don’t get back to the ferry dock in Anacortes by a certain time, they’ll be stuck on the mainland overnight.

This will be the girl’s first game of the season.

At 7 p.m. on Thursday, the Falcon volleyball team also goes into action for the first time, against the Lakewood Cougars, in Erickson Gym.
