Girls basketball drops first round game in district tournament

South Whidbey girls basketball lost to Nooksack Valley 57-34 in the first round of the Northwest District 1A Girls Basketball Tournament Feb. 5 at Nooksack Valley High School.

The Falcons (7-14, overall, 3-9 in Cascade Conference) play either Meridian or Lynden Christian in a loser-out elimination game Feb. 8.
