Granite Falls rallied from a two-point deficit at halftime and defeated the South Whidbey boys basketball team 80-73 on Friday night in Granite Falls.
The Tigers gained momentum out of the halftime break, holding the Falcons to 14 points in the third quarter while gaining a 54-51 lead. South Whidbey tried to close the gap in the fourth quarter, but Granite Falls surged ahead thanks to leading scorers Karl Spencer and Evan West, who each scored 22 points.
Falcon senior CJ Sutfin scored a team-high 21 points, followed by junior Parker Collins with 19 points.
