Martha Keck Murray, 98, died Sept. 5, 2003.
She was born Jan. 15, 1905, in Washburn, N.D., to Johannes and Paulina Keck. She was the last of a large family.
She had taught school, Sunday school and worked at Marshall Fields. She carried on the benevolent caring that her parents practiced. She was a writer and published children’s Sunday school materials and poetry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Murray; parents Johannes and Paulina Keck; sisters and brothers.
She is survived by a nephew, Dr. Walter Keck; a niece Pauline Langner; and many nieces and nephews.
