Mary Irene Davis

Mary Irene Davis of Eugene, Ore. passed away Nov. 16, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer at the home of her son, Glen in Clinton.
Irene was born Feb. 12, 1919 in Booneville, Ark. Irene married Melvin Davis on June 30, 1938 and the family moved to Springfield, Ore. in 1947.
She was a hairdresser for 35 years, and was a lifelong member of the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her son, Glen (Mary Ann) of Clinton; granddaughters, Lisa (Sundown) Bova and Susan (Rodd) Sanders both of Greenbank; one grandson, Nathan Davis of Clinton; and one great-grandson, Hunter Bova.
Her husband of 56 years preceded her in death.
The family would like to thank Whidbey Home Health and Dr. O’Neill for their care the last seven months.
