Dorothy G. Johannson

Dorothy G. Johannson, first baby born in Seattle on Jan. 1, 1922, joined her beloved husband Donald on the morning of March 10, 2007.
Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother to her three children, who were raised in Lake Oswego, Ore. She enjoyed her garden club and P.E.O. during the week and their beach house on weekends.
Don and Dorothy moved to Langley and built their dream home in 1988, and spent the rest of their days here on Whidbey.
She is survived by her sons Gillon and Kerry of Oregon, and her daughter Shannon (C.J. Yahnke) of Langley, as well as her extended family. All of us will miss her.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at Visser Funeral Home in Langley.
