LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Price Johnson is part of the community

To the editor:

South Whidbey is truly a unique place to live. We care about each other and try to take care of each other. Helen Price Johnson is one of us.

In the upcoming election, we need a commissioner who is part of this community, not one who just lives here. Understanding how we and our children live and work is extremely important. Helen wears many hats in the community — wife, mother, business owner, community volunteer and a hometown hero. When her neighbors need help, she is there. We will not have to just hope our commissioner knows how county government can help us, she will know.

Please join us in voting for Helen Price Johnson for Island County commissioner. We need her.
