Frank E. Driscoll

Frank E. Driscoll Jr., 85, died peacefully on Feb. 8, 2009 after a short battle with cancer.
He was born on Jan. 10, 1924 to Frank and Lena Driscoll of Mutiny Bay. Frank grew up on the shores of Whidbey Island. Frank graduated from Langley High School in 1942 and entered the Navy where he served in the Pacific Fleet.
Frank married and had two sons, Gary and Patrick. Frank retired from the Boeing Company after a 35-year career working on all major aircraft programs.
Frank loved his home in Fall City, where he lived with his family for the past
50 years. Frank enjoyed friends and family and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma; son Patrick (Laura); grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Irene Olason, Evelyn Dallman, Gertrude Tasche (Jim), Loretta Carter (Lloyd), Charles Driscoll (Marcia); and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his son, Gary, and brother Edward.
At Frank’s request there will be no memorial service. Remembrances may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
