Earl Odion

Earl M. Odion Jr., aka Mr. Wonderful, left us on May 6, 2009 in the presence of his family.
He was born on April 10, 1925 and lived a life with love and extraordinary devotion to his wife and family.
He exemplified grace in the face of aging, with generosity of spirit, and the gift of a smile and humor for all he met. When asked “How are you?”, his consistent reply was, “Better than excellent.” You truly were “Mr. Wonderful.” We will miss you.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, currently residing at Careage of Whidbey; his sons and daughters, Byron and Raven Odion (Whidbey Island), and Felix and Gloria Odion (Placerville, Calif.); his grandchildren Kyle and Jessica Odion and their son Wyatt (Vancouver, Wash.) and Zackery and Erika Odion and their children Ava Marie and Haakon (Pateros, Wash.).
A memorial is planned at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 31 at his former residence at Summerhill Assisted Living, 165 SW Sixth St., Oak Harbor. Call 360-679-1400 for details and directions.
