Virginia Brown

Virginia Brown died peacefully at Whidbey General Hospital on Feb. 20, 2011 at the age of 90.
She was born in 1920, and spent many years in West Seattle.
Virginia graduated from the University of Washington, and later received her teaching degree from Seattle University, and taught math at Madison Junior High School in Seattle from 1963 until her retirement in 1982. She moved to Freeland in 1998.
Virginia was an avid knitter and gardener, and a duplicate bridge Life Master.
She is survived by her daughters Leslie Brown of Clinton and Maggie Stern of Freeland, as well as four grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.
At Virginia’s request, no services will be held.
