Steve was born June 16, 1954 in Oceanside, CA and died February 10, 2012 in Puyallup WA. He was a long time resident of Whidbey Island where he worked for Nichols Brothers Shipyard and was a volunteer Firefighter, EMT and Sea/Rescue member for the Bayview Fire Department. His most recent employment was with Systems Transport Inc.

Survivors: children Sara Holibonich, South Korea, Kesha Vento (Chase), Puyuallap WA, brother Micheal Holibonich (Linda), Escondido, CA, sister Barbara Collins (Joe), Boise, ID, 1 grandchild, 4 nephews, 2 aunts, an uncle, many cousins and friends. He was proceeded in death by an infant daughter and both parents.

Steve will be laid to rest in the Bayview Cemetery in Bayview WA with services being held on February 25th at 1pm at the Visser Funeral Home in Langley. Following all services there will be a pot luck at the American Legion. Bring photos you would like to share. He will forever remain in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his name to the Franciscan Hospice Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
