LETTERS TO THE EDITOR | Price Johnson means ‘community’

To the editor:
When I hear the word “community,” I think of Helen Price Johnson.
Community is what Helen is all about. She cares for her community and all the people in it.
You might find her judging an alpaca show wearing a funny costume, or singing for a talent show for Good Cheer, or directing an orchestra as a guest conductor. Wherever things are going on in our community you’ll find her participating, being a good sport and an active part of the community.
You also might find her checking out a controversial drainage area during a walk with her friends or sitting over coffee listening to a community member who has concerns, then taking that knowledge back to her office to work on doing something about it. Her mind is always on the job and how she can best serve this community that she loves.
She is out there in our community as our county commissioner working hard to represent all of us in the best way she can. She has been doing a good job on this for four years now, and I’m hoping to see her keep on for four more.
