County commissioners join league dinner

The Island County Commissioners will meet in special session next week to attend a League of Women Voters of Whidbey Island dinner.

The league is holding a salad supper at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Whidbey Golf & Country Club, 2430 SW Fairway Lane in Oak Harbor.

The commissioners were invited to attend and address current issues in Island County. Cost is $20.
