Sports teaches Whidbey students life lessons

I had the opportunity to officiate the South Whidbey girls varsity and junior varsity basketball games at LaConner.

The ball did not bounce in their direction this night, but I would like to recognize both of these South Whidbey teams for their sportsmanship and politeness while on the basketball court.

The life lessons and skills that these young ladies are learning and demonstrating will take them well beyond the basketball court.
