Falcons rip rivals / Tennis

The South Whidbey High School tennis team bounced back from its first loss of the season to trim Coupeville 4-1 in a non-league match Wednesday, April 25.
The Falcons (3-0, 7-1) now play three consecutive Cascade Conference matches, starting with a trip to Archbishop Murphy (0-4, 0-4) at 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 27.
South Whidbey 4, Coupeville 1
Singles: 1, Robynn Maciel won 6-0, 6-2; 2, Ashley Ricketts won 6-3, 6-3.
Doubles: 1, Mary Zisette/Alison Papritz won 6-2, 6-2; 2, Farris Jokinen/Ainsley Nelson lost 2-6, 6-3, 10-6; 3, Ally Lynch/Oliana Stange won 7-5, 7-6(7-5).
