Letter: Goal of matching large donation met at event

I would like to extend a personal thank you to all the wonderful folks who came out to celebrate with us last weekend at the Greenbank Farm.

We celebrated meeting our goal of a very generous match donation, and so many of you contributed both at the event and in the online ask.

The generosity of people like yourselves is a true joy to behold and part of the magic here on Whidbey.

We began as a grassroots effort and have grown to reach out and work diligently to meet the needs of the homeless north to south.

As founder of the Whidbey Homeless Coalition, I could not be prouder of those who serve, as well as this community who partners with us in our work.
