Letter: Medical professionals at hospital informed, kind

Published 1:30 am Friday, May 24, 2019

Editor,

Recently I was admitted to WhidbeyHealth Hospital in Coupeville after a brief visit to their E.R.

I was in a lot of pain and honestly was quite frightened, not knowing what was happening to me or what to expect.

But without fail, every single medical professional I encountered was kind and gentle and informed me of what was going on.

Soon I had a clear picture and with their help was made comfortable and calm.

I really cannot say enough about the quality and genuine care and concern I received. The doctors, surgeons and nursing staff were exemplary.

Even at 3 a.m. when not at my sparkliest, the nurses with my medications were wonderful.

It was that level of care and personal attention that made all the difference in my outlook and progress.

I just cannot thank them all enough; I am mightily impressed.

Now I am at home and on the road to recovery. A road made smooth and easy by the very wonderful people at our terrific local hospital.

A heartfelt thank you to you all.
