The club formed in 1980 with 12 members. The original planning committee included Janie Gabelein. Karen Jeffers, Alice Miller, Carol Spangler, Margaret Tagg and Pat Westling.

Today the club has 24 members and continues to meet in members homes or restaurants.

The club has 10 meetings from September to June. The club continues to collect for the Good Cheer Food Bank each year and donate to the South Whidbey School Garden. This year the members also sent a donation for painting the Bayview Community Hall.

This year’s program planning board members were Marge Carter, Janie Gabelein, Karen Jeffers and Jan Lautenbach.
