Letter: Rep. Larsen isn’t truly a progressive

Editor,

I would like to think America is still a democracy, but I know better.

Do you realize we have a Democratic Congressional representative who prefers legislation that will ensure many American citizens will file for bankruptcy due to medical bills over Bernie’s (and AOC’s) Improved Medicare for All?

Do you realize that Rick Larsen considers himself a progressive even though he has not joined the Progressive Caucus and does not support many progressive bills?

I would prefer true progressive representation like, say … an AOC-type progressive.

Votes matter. Kids matter. The Green New Deal is necessary.
