Editor,

T.J. Kubisiak’s leadership, determination, and work ethic is embodied in his achievements and accomplishments while serving this great nation. It takes a special kind of leader to be trusted to take a $93 million dollar aircraft and 11 aircrew globetrotting to do the Navy’s mission of power projection and ensuring freedom of the seas.

T.J. has led his aircrew on multi-level missions supporting the National Science Foundation operations in Antarctica; anti-drug trafficking operations throughout Central and South America; anti-piracy operations off the Horn of Africa; Combat missions in Iraq/Afghanistan; hunting Russian and Chinese submarines in the Pacific Ocean and Yellow Sea; humanitarian missions in Cambodia and Papua New Guinea; fighting the Global War on Terrorism tracking Abu-Sayyaf throughout the islands of Mindanao, Philippines.

I have witnessed first-hand his leadership and dedication to duty. T.J. leads by example and develops relationships needed to get the best out of those he leads. He always represented our country, Navy and command with character, integrity, and courage. This warrior and patriot always put his country before self, and he will do the same thing as our next county assessor. I am proud to support him as our next county assessor knowing his qualifications, experience and leadership will make our Assessor’s office the model for other counties to follow. He has my vote, and I encourage everyone who cares about honesty, integrity, and leadership to vote for T.J. in November.
