Port reschedules meeting to Thursday

Interviews set for the three candidates interested in filling the vacancy on the Board of Commissioners for the Port of South Whidbey that were canceled this week because of snowy conditions have been rescheduled.
The special meeting to decide the new port commissioner has now been set for 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29. Applicants Greg Easton, Tim Callison and Stan Berryman will all be interviewed for the role, which was previously held by Ed Halloran.
