Maxwelton 4th of July parade brings community together

South Whidbey residents, musicians and even a few reptiles turned out for the 106th annual Maxwelton Parade on Independence Day.

This year’s grand marshals were B.J. and Dave Hoogerwerf. The parade ended at Dave Mackie Park with yard games and plenty of hot dogs.
