Letter: Letter writer has utter lack of filter

Editor,
I am responding to Fred Wilferth’s letter in your March 28 edition.
I don’t know what amazes me more: his prodigious output or your editorial choices in giving him what seems like a weekly platform.
I am also amazed at his utter lack of filter in deciding to throw out his gibberish for public consumption. He states: “We didn’t spend four years denying a president’s senility.” I suppose in his mind denying a president’s senility (which I agree is a valid point) is somehow to be equated with denying a president’s grifting, bald face lying, sexual predation, racism, sexism, obliviousness to consequences and lack of sincerity and empathy (uh, no, I don’t agree with that point).
But in the hopes of encouraging a much less coarse political discourse, I would like to tell Mr. Wilferth “have a nice day”.
