LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Need a turn lane; ban blinding strobe lights

Editor,

Three or four ideas to make driving safer:

— A turn lane off State Highway 20 at Morris Road. At least just widen the shoulder so there is an escape for inattentive drivers behind you.

— A fluttering brake light that will grab your attention.

— Banning those Washington State Patrol car strobe lights that are dangerously blinding at night.

— An automatic venting system in your car that will cool the interior per chance the temperature rises above 75 degrees. It might save a child or a pooch.
