A volunteer from Langley, and three others from Whidbey Island, are needed to fill vacancies on the Conservation Futures Citizens Advisory Board.
Island County is seeking applicants for the positions. Candidates must live within the boundaries of the South Whidbey and Oak Harbor school districts, and the cities of Langley and Oak Harbor.
The Citizens Advisory Board reviews and evaluates applications to purchase, lease, preserve and protect properties that have open space, wetlands, habitat areas, farmland or timberland, and members serve three-year terms.
