Marriage follows long Langley courtship | NOTABLE

Rick Hoffman and Cindy Bishop after a 34-year courtship will marry New Orleans style on Earth Day, April 22, in a simple morning ceremony at Howes Bayou restaurant in Ferndale, Mich.

Bishop used to work at Langley City Hall and Rick Hoffman was a volunteer fireman in Langley and helped build the steps from Boy & Dog to Seawall Park. They still have a humble home on the South End in Langley.
